Description
Andreas Gabalier is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his legendary MTV Unplugged chapter with very personal, intimate concerts in the most beautiful concert halls in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The unique folk rock ‘n’ roller, who usually thrills thousands of fans in large arenas and stadiums, has deliberately chosen a smaller setting for this autumn tour, where the audience is within reach and can experience his music more directly.
A special concept has been developed for this acoustic project featuring handmade music, with Andreas Gabalier and his band naturally taking center stage. The outstanding musicians provide the powerful yet finely tuned foundation for the unmistakable folk rock ‘n’ roll. In addition, a ten-piece string ensemble lends depth, dynamics, and tonal breadth to the arrangements.
The aim is to create an atmosphere that combines energy and intimacy in equal measure through a combination of acoustic instrumentation, a large musical ensemble, and new arrangements. Those who have otherwise experienced Andreas Gabalier on large stages will encounter him here up close in an intimate live setting—supported by exceptional musicians.
