Description

Born and bred in South Africa, Alice Phoebe Lou took piano lessons as a child and also taught herself to play the guitar. Strong-willed even at a young age, after finishing school she moved to Berlin, where she played guitar with an amp in parks and underground stations. It took her a few weeks to bring out her first EP »Momentum«, and a few months to make her first appearance at TEDx Berlin. Then suddenly leading record labels were making her offers.

Please note: Festival tickets are available at www.reeperbahnfestival.com. Since seats at the Elbphilharmonie are limited, festival visitors are asked to register for the concerts in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall in addition to the purchase of a festival ticket.

The Reeperbahn Festival ranks among the top five best events in the music and digital scenes worldwide. Entering its 16th season in 2021, the festival presents the most thrilling new international bands and artists in extraordinary and intimate venues. The festival has been a regular guest in the Grand Hall since the opening of the Elbphilharmonie and returns with five concerts this year.
