According to an old Chinese proverb, »to drink tea is to forget the noise of the world«. Those who have attended any of the Teatime Classics concerts might add: »… and to make the music sound even sweeter«. This stimulating combination is exactly what is in store in the six concerts held on Saturday afternoons in the wonderful, neo-baroque Brahms Foyer of the Laeiszhalle.

After choosing from the invigorating tea and coffee specialities and delicious cakes, you can indulge in the sound of talented young musicians from across Europe, all of whom have set their sights on a great career in music and have already won first prizes at prestigious international competitions.

As ever, the line-up always varies: from violin, cello and piano soloists to string quartets and piano trios. And this time we even welcome a classical concert guitarist from Scotland.
