Iveta Apkalna / Kremerata Baltica
Elbphilharmonie Organ
Major Symphonic Works in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall
Elbphilharmonie Subscription 2 offers four top orchestras in the Grand Hall and an organ recital to start off with. On the rostrum are two of today's most exciting young conductors: French-Canadian Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Greek-Russian conductor Teodor Currentzis. The series opens with a programme of Baltic music, in which the Elbphilharmonie’s titular organist Iveta Apkalna is accompanied by the legendary Kremerata Baltica. And with Brahms's »A German Requiem«, one of the greatest choral works in music history can be heard in the Grand Hall.
Please note that »Elbphilharmonie Abo 2« will appear on subscription cards.
