Best of Elbphilharmonie
Elbphilharmonie Subscription 1 contains five concerts in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall: four orchestral concerts and a piano recital. The New York Times has described Japanese pianist Mitsuko Uchida as »one of the world's greatest Schubert interpreters«. The pianist plays three Schubert sonatas in her recital at the Elbphilharmonie. The Budapest Festival Orchestra can be heard in a programme consisting entirely of Hungarian music; the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra plays music from Poland, which is the Elbphilharmonie’s featured country this season, and Teodor Currentzis appears with one of the best ensembles for modern repertoire, the SWR Symphonieorchester. But the absolute highlight of the series is the concert with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra – alongside the Berlin Philharmonic still one of the world's best orchestras.
Please note that »Elbphilharmonie Abo 1« will appear on subscription cards.
