The Newcomers Subscription series is a chance to discover popular symphonies by Schubert and Dvořák, and virtuosic solo concertos by Bach and Beethoven − all performed by distinguished orchestras and first-class artists such as Jordi Savall, Sir András Schiff and the unconventional violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja. Stefan Dohr, the Berlin Philharmonic’s fantastic solo hornist, performs in the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie concert.
