Leif Gütschow from ByteFM and Elbphilharmonie colleague Tom R. Schulz talk about André Heller and his very special »Week of Amazement« on the Elbe.

This edition of Elbphilharmonie Mixtape is about a very special festival at the Elbphilharmonie. André Heller is curating a »Reflektor« festival in March 2024. For over a week, he will determine the programme in the Elbphilharmonie concert halls – and even in the foyers. It is to be a »week of amazement« – with film screenings, art installations, discussion formats and, of course, great concerts from all genres.

But who is this Viennese artist? What is he known for? What is he planning for the Elbphilharmonie? And what does he have to do with the rapper Drake?

Tom R. Schulz is not only responsible for dramaturgy and writing texts of all kinds at the Elbphilharmonie, he is also in charge of the podcast »Elbphilharmonie Talk« and is thoroughly familiar with André Heller. Together with ByteFM presenter Leif Gütschow, he talks about the Austrian jack-of-all-trades and facilitator, guiding us through the festival's varied programme and revealing what he personally is looking forward to.

This programme was broadcast on 5 March 2024.
