One of the hottest Jazz-Orchestras visits Hamburg. Video available until 12 Feb 2021.

Concert-Stream available until 12 Feb 2021.

Trumpeter Wynton Marsalis has been the leader of New York's Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra for nearly 30 years now. The ensemble, which is made up of 15 top-class soloists, aims to preserve the heritage of American jazz, and at the same time to perform classic swing music in modern interpretations.

In memory of its great predecessors Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie and Louis Armstrong, the orchestra also sees itself as a global »jazz ambassador«: the musicians appear in schools, for example, and tour regularly all round the world.
