Multiverse George Benjamin

According to The Guardian, Sir George Benjamin writes music of »ravishing, shimmering beauty«. The London-born composer’s music is among the most-played of all contemporary works. To mark the premiere of his latest stage work at the Hamburg State Opera House, the Elbphilharmonie now dedicates a major portrait series to the English composer, which includes performances of pioneering orchestral works by the former Messiaen student, as well as all three of his operas.
