St. Petersburger Knabenchor
The extensive repertoire of the St Petersburg Boys’ Choir comprises secular and sacred works from diverse artistic directions and epochs. Of course, the works from the great Russian composers Hristov, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov as well as Russian folk songs build the core of the collection. Only the best 41 members of the choir are selected for its annual concert tour to France and Germany. Each year the choir presents a completely new programme, which contains, along with the Russian pieces, German and international works too.
