Starry Sky Cycle / Piano Recital

Reflektor Max Richter & Yulia Mahr

Music like a starry sky

Elisabeth Brauß, born in 1995, is one of the most promising pianists of her generation: she has already performed for the Federal President of Germany, and in the Ukraine, China and the USA. A BBC New Generation Artist from 2018 to 2020, she shares the stage as a soloist with orchestras such as the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. At the invitation of Max Richter, she now gives her first solo recital in the Elbphilharmonie as part of his »Reflektor« weekend. She will be performing the Estonian composer Urmas Sisak’s »Starry Sky Cycle«.
