Description

The Tocuyito Trio, consisting of violin, cello and piano, takes the audience on a journey to South America, more specifically, to Venezuela. For its vividly staged concert, the trio draws inspiration from Venezuela’s rich culture and natural beauty, from its mysterious mountains, from tales of magical creatures and from the country’s finest fruit: the banana. On stage, the trio performs rousing folk music: Afro-Venezuelan dances, Andean waltzes and the »joropo«, the traditional Venezuelan national dance.
