Christ, very human

Good Friday, one of the most important public holidays in the Christian calendar, experiences an appreciation with distinguished early music expert Jordi Savall and his ensemble Concert des Nations in two expressive Passion oratorios, such as they could not be any more impressive in a cathedral. The works by Haydn and Beethoven are profoundly different in nature and historical origin, yet unified by directly touching music and the Easter message.
