After a sell-out concert in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall in spring 2022, the Dutch pianist and composer Joep Beving now returns to the Elbphilharmonie. This time to the Grand Hall. On his latest album »Hermetism«, Joep Beving plays solo on the piano. Beving was inspired by ancient philosophy while recording: »I hope the music brings comfort and creates a sense of community«, he says – because although Beving is inspired by a feeling of melancholy, he is also keen to arouse hope with the twelve new works.
