Prelude with old acquaintances

The International Mendelssohn Festival opens its programme for the eighth time. With an exclusive array of chamber music played by international artists who have a special connection with this festival. In this inaugural concert, the famous Fine Arts Quartet plays Beethoven’s String Quartet in C minor op. 18, one of his early quartets, whose breadth particularly in the first movement opens up new worlds of chamber music.
