Beethoven forever!

For Rudolf Buchbinder, Beethoven is still the greatest of them all. Even after countless concerts around the world with the best orchestras and conductors. Now in his mid-70s, he naturally loves browsing his numerous complete recordings of Beethoven’s sonatas and piano concertos. After all – as the master pianist explained in his 2014 Beethoven book »Life with the Master« – »I always read even the works I’ve performed hundreds of times as if they were new.« That includes the Piano Concerto No. 3, which he now explores anew with the Estonian Festival Orchestra under its founder Paavo Järvi.
