The concert programme of the Elbphilharmonie and the Laeiszhalle cannot go ahead as planned due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. This concert has to be cancelled. Ticket buyers and subscribers will be informed by e-mail.
The big musical event of the year 2020 is the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. To mark the occasion, the chamber orchestra Le Concert de Nations under the baton of its conductor Jordi Savall has put Beethoven’s music on its programme, devoting four concerts to performances of all nine Beethoven symphonies. The first concert features Symphonies Nos. 1, 2 and 4, with which the orchestra and its period instruments makes a guest appearance at the Laeiszhalle.
