Description

Welcome to Blind Date! Here, anything is possible: groovy folk fiddle music, crossover string quartets, virtuosic live piano improvisation combining jazz and classical music. The imagination is boundless, but not when the surprise is revealed in advance! Included in a Blind Date ticket is a free drink – so that you can ask the evening’s artists at the bar what you just heard!

BartolomeyBittmann was guest artist for the first Elbphilharmonie Blind Date of the 2017/18 season. Vienna-based cellist Matthias Bartolomey and Klemens Bittmann, violinist and mandola player from Graz, continually break new ground and present their own, unique compositions combining elements from rock, contemporary, jazz and pop music.
