Hamburg saxophonist and flutist Bettina Russmann released her debut CD in August of this year and now has a new programme with songs from her own pen. This time she presents the outstanding US singer Julie Silvera, who has also contributed some lyrics to the songs. The two have already performed together in various ensembles, including the Downtown BigBand in Hamburg, and can now be experienced at »Jazz im Kulturcafé«.
Jazz at the Kulturcafé is a monthly event presenting the most promising upcoming artists in the jazz and singer-songwriter scene. It is the perfect experimental platform for musicians and bands from Hamburg and all over the country. The atmosphere is laid back – and admission is free!
