Description
The festival that poetry slam deserves is celebrated. The spoken word will be celebrated in all its colourful facets when the battle of the arts invites you to a location that still gives even experienced poetry slam stars goosebumps – the Elbphilharmonie, a particularly extraordinary concert hall.
Shortly after New Year’s Eve, all the lighting effects of this event format, which may have grown up but is still full of passion, will be brought to life. Visitors can look forward to sparkling performances, bubbling gag volcanoes, glittering eyes and a good spark of madness. A luminous day lies ahead, divided into three shows.
The crowning finale late in the evening is the Slam of Legends – award-winning artists who have previously performed on slam stages and are now well-known artists. Comedians, authors and musicians who have been performing on poetry slam stages since their first steps and now sweep across the stages as if they were their own living room.
