Balthasar Neumann Choir and Ensemble / Repercussion / Duncan Ward
»Posterity«
Audible pictures – visible sounds
In the Balthasar Neumann Orchestra’s project »Posterity«, instruments, percussion and live electronics merge with graphic projections to form a concert show that lends the classical orchestral sound completely new dimensions. »Posterity« combines popular music with classical compositions, and forges a link between the different generations in the audience.
In »Posterity«, the Balthasar Neumann Orchestra is working together for the first time with the award-winning percussion group Repercussion. Under conductor Duncan Ward, works by John Psathas, Michael Laurello, Adi Morag, Arvo Pärt and Emmanuel Séjourné are performed, specially adapted for Repercussion and the Balthasar Neumann Orchestra and first performed in 2022.
