Description

The finale of the »Greatest Hits« festival is in the hands of Rob Brown and Sean Booth of the duo Autechre. Influenced by hip-hop, conceptional music à la Karlheinz Stockhausen and memories of the illegal rave parties of their youth, they have been creating abstract computer music since the early 1990s that gives musical form to the information overkill of our time. After their last show in 2010 in Uebel & Gefährlich, the two artists return to Hamburg for one of their rare appearances here. Their new programme will be performed in complete darkness, enabling the audience to focus on the essentials.
