An Evening with the Stars

»I can’t wait to get together with an absolutely incredible performer of Tchaikovsky’s music to play one of the most significant piano trios ever written. What makes this concert even more special is that we are playing at the Elbphilharmonie. It’s my favourite venue and I am so looking forward to it,« says an overjoyed Anne-Sophie Mutter when asked about her upcoming concert hosted by ProArte. The acclaimed violinist will be joined by her long-standing trio partners and friends Yefin Bronfman on piano and cellist Pablo Ferrández. Each a great musician in their own right, they are united by their unconditional commitment to the music they play. Age, education and background become irrelevant as these three exceptionally talented players come together on equal terms. Tchaikovsky wrote his grandiose piano trio in honour of his late friend and mentor Nikolai Rubinstein and it is a true showpiece for this star-studded trio.
