The Elbphilharmonie’s Concerts for Children
Description
In each of these elaborately staged concerts in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, a new and wonderful world unfolds. In one concert, the audience travels to the moon, accompanied by solo piano and sand art (»Trip to the Moon«). In another, an eleven-piece string ensemble takes the stage to ask the biggest of all questions: can we save the Earth together? One thing is certain: no one is too young to make a difference (»What on Earth!«).
»Twinkle Concerts« is the Elbphilharmonie’s concert series for children that brings the most successful productions from all over Europe to Hamburg. At times funny and playful, at others thoughtful and reflective, the series introduces children to the world of music in a special and unique way.
