The Matinee Subscription dedicates itself to the most important choir works: Franz Schubert’s Mass in A-flat major, choir songs by Brahms and Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and Antonín Dvořák’s Requiem are on the programme – performed by the Symphoniker Hamburg and its resident ensemble, the EuropaChorAkademie.
Please note that following the death of principal conductor Sir Jeffrey Tate in June 2017, the Symphoniker Hamburg has reorganised its 2017/18 season. Programmes and performers may deviate from the original published concert programme.
