The subscription with a wow effect: if you’re up for a surprise, this is the right choice. From circus acrobatics to Mahler songs, jazz from Armenia and Brad Mehldau as well as a tribute to a legendary Arabic singer lie in store here
On the trail of the extraordinary: if you like discovering new things, with surprises provided by world-class acts, the Adventurer subscription is just the thing for you. Armenian jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan, for example, uses his iridescent sounds to portray the magical world of the firebird, whose mysterious story is passed down from one generation to the next in his homeland. Ghalia Benali remembers the singer Umm Kulthum, who is still celebrated in the Arab world today as the »Maria Callas of the Orient«, and Brad Mehldau, one of today’s most influential jazz pianists, presents two of his compositions for piano and symphony orchestra. In addition, the Austrian music band Franui and the circus troupe Circa delve deep into the song world of Gustav Mahler with a spectacular combination of acrobatics and music.
