Brahms: String Quintets Nos. 1 & 2 / Benjamin: Viola, Viola
International top soloists come together to form super-ensembles: among others, Christian Tetzlaff, Augustin Hadelich, Antoine Tamestit and Kirill Gerstein take the stage in the warm glow of the Laeiszhalle, creating unforgettable chamber music evenings
The chamber music series at the Laeiszhalle offers genuine all-star line-ups. Although the soloists in this series regularly perform in the world’s greatest concert halls, they are always eager to come together in a more intimate setting to make music with close colleagues and friends. This season in the Laeiszhalle Recital Hall features celebrated audience favourites such as violinists Christian Tetzlaff and Augustin Hadelich, violist Antoine Tamestit, cellist Christian Poltéra, horn player Stefan Dohr and pianists Kirill Gerstein and Martin Helmchen, performing in a variety of ensembles. Even the Schumann Quartet and the Simply String Quartet agree: making music together with others in an octet is even more fun!
