Over more than 40 years, Martin Haselböck and the Orchester Wiener Akademie have built a reputation for outstanding historically informed performances. One of their most important projects is »Resound Beethoven«. To mark Beethoven’s 250th birthday in 2020, the orchestra performed and recorded all of his symphonies and piano concertos, not only on period instruments, but also at their original premiere venues in Vienna.

On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death in 2027, the Wiener Akademie now visits the Elbphilharmonie to present all nine symphonies in four concerts. An exceptional listening experience!
