Family Orchestra 2026/27
Having fun with music is the name of the game in the Family Orchestra, in which grannies, grandchildren and uncles make music together
Registration starts on 19 May 2026.
Description
The Family Orchestra is one big musical family: children, adults, grandparents, aunts and uncles all play side by side in a full symphony orchestra. Under the direction of Christine Philippsen from the Hamburg Staatliche Jugendmusikschule (State Youth Music School), beginners and experienced musicians, young and old alike, are given partially arranged parts so that everyone can enjoy the pieces, regardless of their skill level.
Rehearsal day & time: Tuesdays, 18:00–19:30
Rehearsal venue: Elbphilharmonie Kaistudio
First rehearsal:8 September 2026 (registration from 19 May 2026)
Dor the sason 2026/27 we are seeking musicians for the following instruments: violin, cello, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, and percussion.
Monthly participation fee: €10
