Chor zur Welt 2026/27
Singing connects us: people from more than 20 countries come together in the Chor zur Welt
Registration starts on 19 May 2026.
Description
The Chor zur Welt brings people and songs together from all corners of the world. The roughly 60 to 70 amateur singers sing in different languages and with a keen interest in the music of other cultures. the themes of »friendship«, »peace« and »living together« are at the heart of their musical collaboration. Under the direction of Jörg Mall, they dedicate the »At Home Anywhere« programme to the favourite songs of the individual choir members.
Rehearsal day & time: Mondays, 18:00–20:00
Rehearsal venue: Elbphilharmonie Kaistudio
First rehearsal:31 August 2026 (registration from 19 May 2026)
Participation is free of charge.
Participation is open to residents from Hamburg and surrounding areas aged 16 and above.
Previous singing experience and enjoyment of movement are required.
