Before the official opening on 11 January 2017, choreographer Sasha Waltz conquered the Elbphilharmonie together with more than 80 musicians and dancers. Her famous dance company made its way through the different foyers surrounding the Grand Hall and enhanced the building's striking architecture. Let art spread through the new concert hall!
The performance started with Francis Poulenc's choral work »Figure Humaine«, and also included music from Hildegard von Bingen to György Ligeti.
