Portrait Eva Reiter

There are not many artists who switch roles and styles as easily as Vienna-born Eva Reiter. As a composer she produces highly original music, some of it electronically altered, played for example by the Ictus Ensemble, in which she also performs vocals and plays the impressive Paetzold bass recorder. Yet Reiter's roots lie in early music, which she continues to play on her viola da gamba. More than ample reason, then, to get to know our current Elbphilharmonie Artist in Residence better.
