The Zurich Chamber Singers
»O nata lux«
Radiant sounds for Christmas
Many character carols are about the light that penetrates the winer darkness. And the Zurich Chamber Singers’ concert programme »O nata lux« is likewise full of carols both well-known and less familiar that tell the Christmas story – from the proclamation made by the angels to the shepherds up to the Nativity. Between the traditional carols arranged by composers like Michael Praetorius and Johann Sebastian Bach, motets from the last 500 years invite us to pause and reflect.
