Camerata Taiwan
A musical dialogue
Timeless and boundless
On their tour of Germany, Camerata Taiwan presents a diverse concert programme featuring works from the past and works in the tonal language of the present – a musical dialogue between heritage and innovation. Under conductor Su-Han Yang, the string ensemble will first perform »Anamorphosen« by the young composer Chia-Ying Lin, followed by Richard Strauss’s »Metamorphosen«, which was the model for Lin’s work. After the interval, the focus is on the cello as a solo instrument – with the outstanding cellists Wen-Sinn Yang and Mon-Puo Lee. They perform contemporary works by the Swiss composer Fabian Müller and a Double Concerto for Two Cellos and String Orchestra by Jing Peng.
