At every concert the children sit wide-eyed with excitement on the edge of their seats and listen spellbound to the stories unfolding on the stage. Sometimes the stories are so funny that the children are in fits of giggles. Once again Elbphilharmonie Kompass presents four music productions from around the world in their series »Hereinspaziert! / Welcome!«. These productions are especially for children aged four and upwards. In the first concert, the Turkish-German Pera Ensemble takes the children on a trip to Istanbul with their Anatolian music, where supposedly the best coffee beans in the whole wide world can be found. After that things get sporty, when the two pianists Andreas Grau and Götz Schumacher turn out to be real acrobats at the piano. »Lea, Opa und das Himmelsklavier« tells a story about the great love for life and how difficult it is to say goodbye. The last concert is loud once again, as the Hungarian ensemble »Brass in the Five« sets out with their trumpets and trombones to visit the six goblins in the Brass Forest. All concerts are recommended for children aged four and upwards.
