Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra / Mao Fujita / Sebastian Weigle
Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 / Rachmaninov: Symphony No. 2
Reference works of classical music performed by renowned ensembles in five moderated concerts
The young, charismatic artists in the »Classical Fascination« series prove that classical music does not belong in a museum. They breathe new life into solo concertos in the first half of the concert; in the second half of the programme, top international orchestras and conductors interpret reference works of classical music. Accompanied by an event moderator, the concerts offer a stimulating introduction to the programme of the evening as well as present a very personal side of the artists.
