Expert ensembles make guest appearances at the Elbphilharmonie: symphony orchestras from England and Russia present »their« music, while the musicians from Amsterdam demonstrate their long Mahler tradition. Last but not least, a Handel opera played on original instruments by the English Concert from London, which the great Baroque composer made his home.
