Not only the Elbphilharmonie celebrates its 10th anniversary this season, but also the organ in the Grand Hall. Exactly ten years after the official opening concert, titular organist Iveta Apkalna reminisces in January 2027 with a special anniversary programme. She will also frame the organ season with Saint-Saëns’ opulent Organ Symphony and a new solo concerto by the Finnish composer Sebastian Fagerlund.
