In 2017, Wolfgang Niedecken, front man of the band BAP and one of Germany’s most successful musicians, set off on a road trip from the East to the West coast of America following in Bob Dylan’s footsteps. For the five-part ARTE series »Bob Dylans Amerika«, he visited the Nobel laureate’s companions and the places he lived. This year, to mark his own 70th birthday, Niedecken has published the book »Wolfgang Niedecken über Bob Dylan«, in which he tells the story of that journey and his personal story with the musician colleague who recently celebrated his 80th birthday.
