Elbphilharmonie Kopfhörer #23 – Already dancig?

The podcast for young people. This time: what role does music play in dancing? (German only).

There's no need to sit still in the Elbphilharmonie – you can dance if you want! The »Disco« concert on 30 May 2023 with the  Orchester im Treppenhaus  turns the Grand Hall into a club. Colleen, Anneke and Finn from the tenth grade of the local school in Rissen are surprised at what electronic sounds can be enticed from instruments like the violin and the flute.

Two members of the orchestra, Tine and Sebastian, tell us how serious they are about practising, and how they feel before an appearance like this. Then comes the dance-music quiz and it's your turn: do you recognise the hits from different centuries? Which music gets you dancing?
