Pallett is a unique figure in indie pop. The Canadian composer, violinist, vocalist and arranger – a graduate of the University of Toronto – made a name for himself with his project Final Fantasy, under which name he performed until 2009. The remarkable musician also caused a sensation by working with bands such as Arcade Fire, The Hidden Cameras and The Last Shadow Puppets.

For some time now he has been releasing elegant solo pieces with a classical hue under his own name. In live performances he has developed the art of looping his violin playing with a foot pedal.

The Reeperbahn Festival is known as Europe’s biggest club festival and is regarded as one of the world’s most important events for the music and digital industry. In 2017 the festival is staging its grand finale in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall.

The concert was broadcast live at www.elbphilharmonie.com. The video on demand is available until 22 December 2017.
