For More Tolerance and Diversity: Rainbow Elphi for CSD

As colourful as the society we would like to have: the Elbphilharmonie was illuminated for Christopher Street Day.

Over the next six years, famous buildings in Hamburg will be illuminated in the colours of the rainbow to mark Christopher Street Day. The CSD HAMBURG WIRD LEUCHTEN initiative was launched by the Dee Concert Music and Entertainment agency as a symbol for diversity and equality in society.

The Elbphilharmonie was the first building to be illuminated. Next year it will be the TV Tower’s turn, and following that the Bunker in Heiligengeistfeld, the Köhlbrand Bridge, the Speicherstadt, the City Hall and St. Michael’s Church.
