Mixtape on 4 November
Experimental electronic music, charming pop songs and avant-garde jazz is on the line-up for the Elbphilharmonie programme in November. In the latest Elbphilharmonie Mixtape, ByteFM host Michael Hager introduces the »ePhil«series, which offers electronic music artists and musical freethinkers a platform in the Bunker on Feldstraße since 2015.
An additional topic in this month’s Elbphilharmonie Mixtape: Benjamin Clementine, who performs in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall on 18 November. He received a prestigious Mercury Prize in 2015 for his debut album »At Least For Now« and since then belongs to a league of his own with his subtly eccentric pop chansons. And: the Swiss vocal acrobat Andreas Schaerer, who is not only a master of scat singing and beatboxing, but was also honoured with the Echo Jazz prize in 2015. Together with his avant-garde jazz band Hildegard Lernt Fliegen, the musician takes the stage in the Grand Hall on 21 November.
The Elbphilharmonie Mixtape with Michael Hagers airs on Saturday, 4 November, 12–13:00.
