A Mozart singspiel and contemporary Arab poetry and music are combined by the Hamburger Camerata and the Belgian-Tunisian singer Ghalia Benali in their programme »From Tunis to Vienna«. They take as their basis Mozart’s incomplete and long-lost singspiel »Zaide«.

Concert / Pupils from the Sophie-Barat-Schule

Eine Stunde vor dem Konzert der Hamburger Camerata spielt das Schulorchester der Hamburger Sophie-Barat-Schule. Die kooperative Patenschaft zwischen der Hamburger Camerata und dem Schulorchester begann 2015 auf Initiative von Simon Gaudenz, dem Dirigenten der Hamburger Camerata. Sie ist Teil der sehr vielfältigen Musikvermittlungsprojekte des Kammerorchesters.
