Laeiszhalle Hamburg Studio E

Workshop: Streichinstrumente / String Instruments

Tickets €5.00

Previous Event Next Event

A workshop that stands alone as an accompanying programme on the subject of »string instruments«! Related thematically to the concert programme, the string instruments are put under the microscope and participants discover first-hand how they are created with outstanding craftsmanship. Of course, there will also be a chance to actually play the violin, viola, cello and double bass. The crowning finale is a guest performance by the Hamburg-based Canea Quartet – with an opportunity after the short concert for a discussion about musical favourites, inspiration and any other burning questions participants may have.

On 1 April, an exceptional string quartet can be heard at the Laeiszhalle: the Doric String Quartet performs works by Guillaume Lekeu, Claude Debussy und Ernest Chausson with guests Alina Ibragimova and Cédric Tiberhgien. Go to the concert
