People have been making music on percussion instruments for thousands of years – not only here in Europe, but in all corners of the world. This workshop is an introduction to rhythms from India and various African countries – all of which can be directly tried out on instruments typical of the country, such as tablas and djembes. The workshop is recommended for ages 6 and upwards. Please note: The workshop lasts for 30 minutes, after which Open Day visitors can embark on their own independent discovery tour of the concert halls (approx. 120 minutes). Admission is possible from 20 minutes before the start of the workshop via the Kaistudios on the 2nd floor (access via the north entrance, to the right of the escalator).
