Packed right up to the roof with all manner of musical instruments, the Sound Mobile sets out to visit children and their families all over Hamburg. Child minders and their nursery groups are also welcome to embark on a musical voyage and explore the wonderful world of musical instruments. Participants play on woodwind and brass, on violins, a harp and even a tubby double bass. Duration: 60 minutes.
Booking information: Every workshop participant requires a ticket, including accompanying persons. Children under the age of four may not participate in this workshop. Tickets for this event are also available from the venue's box office (and occasionally when tickets are sold out online).
BiM was established in 1972 through the work of a citizens’ initiative. It sees itself as a cross-generational centre that aims to promote non-commercial cultural and educational work relevant to the city district. In line with this cultural and educational mission, the centre organises numerous cultural events such as concerts and theatre performances, and hosts more than 40 courses and group meetings each week.
It is possible to park on both sides of the street free of charge on Saseler Straße. Plenty of free street parking is also available on surrounding streets.
The hall on the basement floor is fully accessible. The seminar rooms on the first floor are not accessible. There is no disabled toilet.
