Pandemonium with Hammond organ

The overture to the »John Zorn Reflektor« is a statement in itself. The band Simulacrum, a hyper-virtuosic jazz-metal trio that knows how to blend the delicate with the brutal in typical Zorn style, is sure to bring pandemonium to the Recital Hall in the blink of an eye. On the Hammond organ is John Medeski, who wrote jazz (and more) history in the 1990s with the underground groove trio Medeski Martin & Wood. Matt Hollenberg plays electric guitar, while Kenny Grohowski avoids all the stereotypes of the metal genre with never-fading power on the drums. The music is extremely fast, sometimes extremely loud. And always extremely good.
