In the Audience Orchestra, dedicated amateurs rehearse with great enthusiasm and at a very high artistic level under conductor Michael Petermann, the director of the Hamburger Konservatorium. Each year the orchestra gives numerous performances in the Hamburg districts and in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall, in which they play the pieces they’ve been practicing so intensively. At »Musik, Literatur und Picknick in Goßlers Park« concertgoers can enjoy an open-air concert with a colourful music programme. Don't forget to bring along your picnic blankets and baskets!

Goßlers Park Blankenese

In 1790, when Altona belonged to the Danish state, John Blacker, the English merchant and court master of the »Hamburg Company«, acquired a piece of land. He created a park in the English style there, complete with a country house. Today it is known as Goßlers Park, after a later owner. These days, the building is used by the »ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius« and the Bucerius Law School as a cultural centre. Rooms can also be hired for private events.
