Sounds of Israel
Israel is not only a place of significance for three world religions and the location of some very complicated Middle East conflicts. Here is where oriental traditions and western lifestyle converge; here is where a class of innovative, experience-hungry creative young artist resides. This group takes the history of their country and traditions of native cultures and develops them further, just like the artistic achievements in the metropolises of Europe and the Americas. The eleven day festival »Sounds of Israel« brings together stars, newcomers and insider tips – artists who function as seismometer of their society and are far ahead of the current political situation.
